Richie was born into the 4-H program, as both his mother and grandmother are alumni and current 4-H leaders. He joined Sheepfold as a prep member, and later joined the Broken Props Airplane Club. Richie’s time in 4-H has taught him many things, but the biggest impact out of all the 4 H’s is Heart. Richie cultivated compassion and caring for both animals and people. During the pandemic, he brought his animals to several community events, including churches for the holidays, because he enjoyed watching how happy people were to see them.
His favorite memories will always be of the 4-H Fair. Richie loves showing animals, but the down time to relax and hang out with 4-H friends will always be his favorite.
Richie graduated from Bridgewater Raritan High School in 2021 and graduated from Somerset County Vo-Tech with a degree and certification in Welding. He has been employed with a construction and landscape company and is currently seeking to obtain his CDL.
