The Centenary Cyclones, featuring former Bridgewater-Raritan High School standout Lily Bissett, were defeated 10-2 by the Union Garnet Chargers in their NCAA Division III softball game held Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m.
The contest at Tannery Field marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. In the previous matchup on Saturday, March 7, Centenary also lost to the Garnet Chargers, 7-0.
Bissett pitched one inning, allowing three earned runs with three walks and one strikeout.
Centenary’s next contest is set for Tuesday, March 24, at 3 p.m. at Cougar Softball Field, where they will face the Kean Cougars.
