Congressman Tom Kean, representing New Jersey’s 7th district, recently shared updates on his activities through a series of tweets. Kean has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023, succeeding Tom Malinowski. Prior to his congressional role, he served in the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate.
On June 4, 2025, Congressman Kean tweeted about his visit with Secretary Chavez-DeRemer to the Northeast Carpenters Training Center. He noted that they observed how the center is preparing “the next generation of tradesmen and women to build New Jersey’s future.” “ICYMI: I joined Secretary Chavez-DeRemer yesterday at the Northeast Carpenters Training Center to see how they’re preparing the next generation of tradesmen and women to build New Jersey’s future.”
Later that day, Kean mentioned meeting with members of the New Jersey Association of Realtors and other representatives from the NJ Realtor community. The discussion focused on significant issues such as supporting self-employed real estate professionals and stabilizing housing prices. “It was great to sit down with a group from the New Jersey Association of Realtors and other members of the NJ Realtor community this morning.”
In another engagement on June 4, Congressman Kean met with truck dealers from the New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers (NJ CAR). The conversation centered around understanding their priorities and concerns related to dealerships, employees, and customers throughout New Jersey. “This afternoon, I had the pleasure of meeting with New Jersey truck dealers from the New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers (NJ CAR) to hear their priorities and concerns on behalf of their dealerships, employees, and the customers they serve across the Garden State.”
Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA.
