U.S. Congressman Thomas Kean Jr., who represents New Jersey’s 7th district, highlighted local achievements and community issues in a series of posts on August 25, 2025.
Kean began the day by congratulating an area athlete for international success. On August 25, he posted: “Congratulations to Roxbury’s own Luke Stanich for bringing home the gold medal for the United States at the U20 World Championship wrestling tournament! What an incredible achievement—our entire community, NJ-07, and the nation are proud of you! “
Later that afternoon, Kean recognized a member of law enforcement from his district. In a tweet dated August 25, he wrote: “This week’s #NJ07 Law Enforcement Hometown Hero is Officer Adam Bergman of the Warren Township Police Department. Serving on the New Jersey State Police Auto Theft Task Force, Officer Bergman has played a key role in investigating organized auto theft crews targeting Warren”
That evening, Kean shared insights from recent meetings with constituents involved in agriculture. On August 25, he stated: “On Friday, I sat down with New Jersey farmers and local producers to hear directly about the challenges they face and the ways I can support them in Washington. In Congress, I am committed to finding solutions and working across the aisle to eliminate burdensome regulations,”
