Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, has represented New Jersey’s 7th district since 2023 after succeeding Tom Malinowski. Before serving in Congress, he held seats in both the New Jersey General Assembly (2001–2003) and Senate (2008–2022). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College.
