Former Hillsborough High School athlete Sarah Davenport helped East Stroudsburg Warriors secure a 9-2 victory over the Millersville Marauders in Friday’s NCAA Division II softball matchup, held at 1 p.m. on April 17.
Seaber Softball Stadium hosted the contest, which marked the teams’ third meeting of the season. The two teams have evenly split their previous games this year.
Davenport pitched a complete game, giving up two earned runs and striking out 12 batters over seven innings.
The Warriors are set to face the Marauders again at Seaber Softball Stadium, with their next game scheduled for 3 p.m.
