East Rocky Hill ranked 46th among cities in New Jersey by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau in August.

The median income of East Rocky Hill residents was an inflation-adjusted $57,554 per year. East Rocky Hill had 116 households in 2017, with a population of 239.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Pine Valley. Pine Valley's median income was $250,001 per year after adjusting for inflation – $192,447 more than East Rocky Hill. It had 2 households in 2017 and a population of 4.
