Becoming a culturally responsive educator includes understanding the stereotypes and biases of the communities you serve. During this session educators will engage in discussion and deconstruct some stereotypes typically heard and shared regarding AAPI communities including the model minority myth. Participants will also explore cultural differences in and perspectives surrounding topics such as education and mental health.
