The Center for Great Expectations issued the following announcement.
Thanks to the generous support of so many, our clients and their children enjoyed a day full of fun at our Annual Alumni Reunion on Saturday. There was face painting, temporary tattoos, bubbles, parachute and water balloons for the kids. Plus, games of Volleyball, Jenga, corn hole and soccer broke out among all attendees, staff and volunteers throughout the day.
Of course, enjoying all those activities can work up an appetite. And we’d like to thank Wegmans, Bridgewater Rita’s, Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Parishioners and our staff for providing an abundance of delicious food that made sure no one left hungry.
We’d also like to thank Platinum DJ for providing some great music. And all the student volunteers from East Brunswick High School and Rutgers Preparatory School for their help setting up, cleaning up and keeping the activities going for all the kids.
All in all, it was a truly wonderful day for our CGE graduates. Not only did they have the chance to celebrate their continued success and reconnect with each other and our staff, but it also gave them the opportunity to provide encouragement to those in attendance who are still receiving treatment.
