Hope Lives Here Gala

May be an image of 8 people, people standing and text that says 'ENCYBALLRO NCY BALLROO'

“Every time I come; I learn something new.” That was the one comment that we heard over and over again during our Hope Lives Here Gala. In addition to Peg and our other speakers, the more than 200 attendees also had the opportunity to hear directly from one of our clients — who is now a clinician giving back to the clients at our Roots to Recovery outpatient program!

As she stood up to share her amazing story of recovery, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. We witnessed this same reaction the entire evening as our guests saw the faces and read the personal journeys of other clients on posters throughout the room; admired the artwork on display that some of the women created and watched a preview for our new documentary that we will be unveiling to the public in January, the start of our 25th anniversary celebrations!

It was wonderful to see such an outpouring of support and love from so many people for CGE’s mission. Not only did we surpass our goal for the night, but Peg actually said that it energized her to do even more — if that’s even possible. “Every time I come; I learn something new.” That was the one comment that we heard over and over again during our Hope Lives Here Gala.
