Congressman Thomas Kean Jr., who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed topics ranging from national security to local innovation through a series of posts on his social media account.
On December 10, 2025, Kean shared insights from a House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee hearing, stating: ” At today’s @HouseForeignGOP Subcommittee hearing on Judea and Samaria, I questioned experts on how the United States can further peace, combat terrorism, and promote security in the region. Later that evening, Kean commented on his legislative activity regarding defense policy: “Tonight, I voted in support of the FY2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to strengthen our national security, promote peace through strength, and deliver real improvements for our servicemembers. This year’s NDAA makes major strides in protecting our homeland. It” (December 10, 2025).
The following day he recognized local achievements in healthcare innovation: “Congratulations to @OnkosSurgical on opening the NanoCept Innovation Center in Bridgewater! This new facility highlights #NJ07 innovation in patient care & modern medicine. Exciting progress ahead.” (December 11, 2025).
Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, has served as a U.S. Congressman since 2023 after succeeding Tom Malinowski. He previously held seats in both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate between 2001 and 2022. Kean is an alumnus of Dartmouth College.
