Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, has served as U.S. Representative since replacing Tom Malinowski in 2023. Before joining Congress, he held positions in both the New Jersey General Assembly (2001–2003) and Senate (2008–2022). He is an alumnus of Dartmouth College.
