Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on his social media account in early April 2026, addressing both holiday greetings and recent international developments.
On April 5, Kean extended Easter wishes to his followers, stating: “Happy Easter! Wishing you and your family a blessed and joyful day.”
The following day, April 6, he posted an image featuring the American and Ukrainian flags without additional commentary: “”.
Later that same day, Kean commented on a military rescue operation involving U.S. forces in Iran. He wrote: “An Easter miracle. Both pilots from the downed F-15 jet were rescued from behind enemy lines in Iran.
Incredible search and rescue mission by our U.S. forces. America never leaves our own behind”
Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston, New Jersey in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, has served as the representative for New Jersey’s 7th congressional district since replacing Tom Malinowski in 2023. Prior to his current role in Congress, he was a member of the New Jersey General Assembly from 2001 to 2003 and served in the New Jersey Senate from 2008 to 2022. Kean is also an alumnus of Dartmouth College.
