Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently highlighted several initiatives and recognitions through his social media posts.
On December 8, 2025, Kean shared his visit to Picatinny Arsenal, stating, “ICYMI: I met with @SecArmy at Picatinny Arsenal to meet with the exceptional workforce delivering groundbreaking tech for our servicemembers. We discussed the installation’s growing role in Army modernization and opportunities for continued investment.”
Later that day, he addressed healthcare policy efforts in Congress. Kean wrote on December 8, 2025: “Together with 20 Democrats & 15 Republicans in the House, I introduced a health care framework to extend the enhanced ACA tax credits. American families need relief from rising healthcare costs, and this is a bipartisan solution Congress can deliver now.”
On December 9, 2025, Kean recognized a local student’s achievement: “It was a privilege to recognize Cadet Colonel Caleb Morman yesterday evening for receiving the General Carl A. Spaatz Award, the highest honor a Civil Air Patrol cadet can earn. Caleb is a student at North Hunterdon High School, where he has distinguished himself both”.
Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston, New Jersey in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, began serving as U.S. Representative for New Jersey’s 7th district after succeeding Tom Malinowski in 2023. Before his tenure in Congress, Kean served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2001 to 2003 and in the New Jersey Senate from 2008 to 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College.
