Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston in 1968 and now residing in Westfield at age 54, began serving New Jersey’s 7th district in Congress after replacing Tom Malinowski in 2023. Prior to his current role at the federal level, he served both in the New Jersey General Assembly (2001–2003) and State Senate (2008–2022). He is also an alumnus of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
