Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on December 2, 2025, highlighting his legislative focus on online safety for children and announcing local developments in Mount Olive Township.
In his first post on December 2, Kean addressed the issue of child safety online: “When it comes to online safety for children, families shouldn’t be left to fight this battle alone. On the same date, Kean announced progress on a community health initiative: “Exciting news for Mount Olive Township! Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, has served as representative for New Jersey’s 7th District since 2023 after succeeding Tom Malinowski. He previously held positions in both the New Jersey General Assembly (2001–2003) and Senate (2008–2022). Kean holds a BA from Dartmouth College.
