Addressing local agricultural concerns the following day, Kean shared his participation in a roundtable with farmers and industry leaders. Thomas Kean Jr., age 54 and a resident of Westfield, has represented New Jersey’s 7th congressional district since 2023 after succeeding Tom Malinowski. Prior to serving in Congress, Kean was a member of the New Jersey General Assembly from 2001 to 2003 and served in the New Jersey Senate from 2008 until 2022. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
