Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. House of Representatives, recently highlighted his legislative activities and constituent services through a series of social media posts.
On October 31, 2025, Kean posted about a bipartisan resolution he introduced supporting continued U.S. investment in Gavi, an international vaccine alliance. He stated: “Over the last 25 years, Gavi has helped vaccinate over a billion children around the world, saving lives and strengthening communities. Today, I introduced a bipartisan resolution alongside @RepGabeAmo affirming continued support for U.S. investment in this vital work that” (October 31, 2025). In a follow-up tweet moments later, Kean shared a link without additional comment: “https://t.co/b57LUHqWLl” (October 31, 2025).
The following day, on November 1, 2025, Kean announced opportunities for constituents to meet with his staff at upcoming satellite office hours: “Join Team Kean at Satellite Office Hours during the first week of November! Please note that we will not be hosting Mount Olive office hours this month. Stop by to discuss any constituent casework needs, including passport renewals, VA benefits, IRS refunds, and more. We are” (November 1, 2025).
Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, began serving in Congress after succeeding Tom Malinowski in 2023. Prior to his current role representing New Jersey’s 7th district since 2023[source], he served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2001 to 2003 and in the New Jersey Senate from 2008 to 2022[source]. Kean is also an alumnus of Dartmouth College.
