Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on legislative and diplomatic activities via his social media accounts.
On December 9, 2025, Kean addressed a healthcare policy issue in a post stating, “Insurers & PBMs shouldn’t be allowed to pocket co-pay assistance without counting it toward a patient’s costs. I introduced the HELP Copays Act to fix this and ensure savings for critical prescriptions medications are actually passed down to Americans.”
Later that day, Kean highlighted his engagement in foreign relations by sharing, “Today I sat down with Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Narek Mkrtchyan, to discuss the ongoing work of strengthening U.S.-Armenia relations. We reviewed progress since the August 8 trilateral summit and the implementation of the preliminary peace agreement.” The meeting reflects ongoing diplomatic discussions following significant developments earlier in the year.

Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, has served as U.S. Representative for New Jersey’s 7th district since 2023 after replacing Tom Malinowski. Before joining Congress, he was a member of both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate over two decades. Kean is an alumnus of Dartmouth College.
