Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. House of Representatives, has recently highlighted legislative efforts and local achievements through a series of social media posts.
On August 27, 2025, Kean emphasized the importance of American workers and job creators in the national economy, stating: “American workers and job creators are the backbone of our great nation, and @HouseGOP is delivering policies that help them thrive From domestic manufacturers to small business owners and service workers, our reconciliation bill keeps more money in the pockets of hardworking”.
The following day, on August 28, 2025, Kean shared insights from a recent meeting with local business leaders: “Last week, during my restaurant and hospitality roundtable with @NJRHAssociation, I heard from local business owners like Keith about how new measures in the reconciliation package are strengthening the restaurant industry. Read his testimonial on how our legislation is”.
Later that same day, Kean recognized educational achievement within his district by congratulating a local teacher: “Congratulations to Roxbury High School’s Mike Gottfried on being named the 2025 CAP National Teacher of the Year for Aerospace Education! His dedication is inspiring the next generation to excel in fields of STEM and aerospace. Well deserved “.
Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston, New Jersey in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield at age 54, began representing New Jersey’s 7th congressional district after winning election in 2022. He succeeded Tom Malinowski and took office in January 2023. Before joining Congress, Kean served both in the New Jersey General Assembly (2001–2003) and State Senate (2008–2022). He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
