Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. House of Representatives, recently shared updates on his official X (formerly Twitter) account highlighting local achievements and legislative positions.
On October 3, 2025, Kean posted about honoring a local law enforcement officer: “Detective Corporal Walter Sliwa of the Far Hills Police Department is one of this year’s outstanding Law Enforcement Hometown Heroes. It was a pleasure to meet with him yesterday and present a certificate of congressional recognition and American Flag flown over the U.S.” The post reflects Kean’s engagement with community policing efforts and recognition of public service.
Later that day, he shared insights from a visit to a local health facility: “This morning, I toured JAG Physical Therapy in Warren Township, one of 13 clinics serving New Jersey’s 7th District. From seniors regaining strength to prevent falls to athletes returning from injury, JAG PT helps patients across our community rehabilitate, prevent injury…” The tweet emphasizes the role of physical therapy centers in supporting health and rehabilitation for diverse populations within the district.
In another post dated October 3, 2025, Kean addressed legislative matters directly: “I supported the bipartisan bill to keep our government open, you opposed it. I support the bipartisan bill that prevents healthcare premiums from spiking, you oppose it. I hope you will, very soon, work up the courage to drop your senseless political games and support these” The statement highlights partisan divisions regarding recent federal legislation related to government funding and healthcare costs.
