Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on his official Twitter account recognizing National Nurses Day, reflecting on the National Day of Prayer, and discussing infrastructure improvements at Pleasant Valley Park.

On May 6, 2026, Congressman Kean wrote: “On National Nurses Day, we say thank you to the nurses who show up every day for our communities. Nurses are at the heart of our healthcare system, and their skill, dedication, and compassion keep our communities healthy and strong. To all our nurses in New Jersey and beyond, we https://t.co/kg1Obc83yC”.

The following day, on May 7, 2026, he posted about the National Day of Prayer: “In 1988, President Reagan permanently designated the first Thursday of May as the National Day of Prayer, inviting all Americans to pray for the nation. Today, we come together for the same purpose, praying for unity, guidance, and protection over our great nation. https://t.co/wf3D4zSFNy”.

Later that day he addressed local infrastructure concerns: “Pleasant Valley Park is a beloved community park, but a flood-prone road crossing is creating harmful pollution and safety hazards for visitors. I’m working to bring federal dollars home in order to fund a new culvert crossing, improve water quality, and keep the park accessible”.
