Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on social media highlighting legislative efforts and community engagements in August 2025.
On August 20, Kean wrote about his work to honor Social Security’s legacy, stating: “Social Security has stood as a trusted institution for millions of Americans for 90 years. I joined @RepBresnahan in introducing a resolution last week honoring its legacy and reaffirming its importance for future generations. Read more about our bill https://t.co/POLJweak5U” (August 20, 2025).
Later that day, Kean posted about a visit to the Flemington Jewish Community Center: “Today I had the privilege of visiting the Flemington Jewish Community Center to present a Congressional Record and U.S. flag flown over the Capitol in honor of their 100th anniversary. For a century, the @FlemingtonJCC has united the community and strengthened Jewish identity. https://t.co/bzVpCr3xem” (August 20, 2025).
The following day, Kean highlighted his participation at a local fair: “It was wonderful to be at the 25th annual Hunterdon County 4-H Fair last night! For a quarter of a century, this fair has brought families and neighbors together to celebrate our youth, showcase local agriculture, and honor the traditions that keep our community strong. Kean began serving as U.S. Representative for New Jersey’s 7th district in January 2023 after previously holding seats in both chambers of New Jersey’s state legislature. He succeeded Tom Malinowski in Congress and resides in Westfield. Kean was born in Livingston, New Jersey in 1968 and is an alumnus of Dartmouth College.
