On April 17, 2026, Kean congratulated a local organization by posting: “Congratulations to @NORWESCAP on receiving @FeedingAmerica’s Network Celebration Award for Enhanced Food Sourcing & Sharing! Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston, New Jersey in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, has represented New Jersey’s 7th district since 2023 after succeeding Tom Malinowski. Before serving in Congress, Kean was a member of the New Jersey General Assembly from 2001 to 2003 and served in the New Jersey Senate from 2008 to 2022. He is an alumnus of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
