Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted several local and international issues on his social media account.
On December 5, 2025, Kean shared news regarding Ukrainian children affected by the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He stated, “Great news Seven more Ukrainian children have been safely reunited with their families. This progress is welcome, but we must continue working to ensure every child unlawfully taken by Russia is returned home. As a cosponsor of House Resolution 564, I have urged that the”.
Two days later, on December 8, 2025, Kean marked National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day with a tribute: “On National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we pause to honor the lives lost and the heroes who rose in the face of unthinkable adversity. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.”
Also on December 8, Kean reported on community developments in Franklin Township: “Team Kean joined the Franklin Township community last week to celebrate the grand opening of their new municipal building. Alongside Mayor Donaruma, Councilmembers, and Hunterdon County Commissioner Soloway, my team commemorated the occasion and presented a certificate of special”.
Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, has served as U.S. Representative since replacing Tom Malinowski in 2023. Before joining Congress, he was a member of both the New Jersey General Assembly (2001-2003) and Senate (2008-2022). He holds a BA from Dartmouth College.
