Congressman Tom Kean, who represents New Jersey’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his participation in community events and constituent services through a series of posts on social media.
On December 14, 2025, Kean reflected on his involvement in a national remembrance event: “I was deeply honored to join the Wreaths Across America ceremony in Basking Ridge yesterday. Across our country, communities paused to remember and pay tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. May we never forget their sacrifice, and may” (posted December 14, 2025).
Later that evening, Kean described joining local leaders for a religious celebration: “Tonight, I joined the Westfield community for the first night of Hanukkah and the lighting of the menorah. It was an honor to celebrate alongside Rabbi Levi Block, Mayor-elect Jeremy Berman, Councilman Michael Armento, and our Jewish neighbors. As families across New Jersey and” (posted December 14, 2025).
The following day, Kean highlighted efforts by his office to assist constituents with federal agencies: “After she experienced severe delays with USCIS, my team and I were thrilled to help Kateryna finally get her work permit approved If you need assistance navigating a federal agency, please don’t hesitate to contact my office:” (posted December 15, 2025).
Thomas Kean Jr., born in Livingston in 1968 and currently residing in Westfield, has represented New Jersey’s 7th district since replacing Tom Malinowski in Congress in 2023. Prior to his current role in Washington D.C., he served both in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2001 to 2003 and as a state senator from 2008 until 2022. Kean is an alumnus of Dartmouth College.
