If you couldn’t make it to the 2022 Ken Daneyko Golf Classic for CGE on July 19th, here are some of the day’s highlights:

It was 90º. But 180 golfers, including 18 women, didn’t let the heat stop them from enjoying this wonderful day on the course. In fact, even Fiddler’s Elbow’s own golf pro, Jacob Smith, and junior pro, Emily Gresham got in on the action. Challenging golfers to see if they could get closer to the pin on certain holes than the pros could. Only a few actually did. And that was even after they could select the club the pros had to use. No, the putter was not an option.

Afterwards guests enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Participated in the final hours of our online auction bidding on some amazing items. And tried their luck at our 50/50 raffle. However, Scott Gomez, a former NJ Devils player and assistant coach for the NY Islanders was luckier than everyone else that night and walked away the raffle winner. He then generously donated his winnings back with an additional donation.
