Ever wonder what the connection is between a butterfly and CGE? To us, it’s a symbol of hope, a sign of encouragement for all those seeking treatment that, just like a butterfly, they too, are about to transform their lives.
Of course, they’re not going through this transformation alone. To remind them of that, the entry to each residential house has a butterfly wall. Each butterfly symbolizes a person, family, organization or business who believes in them and is generously supporting their success through financial donations.
Because of the pandemic, we couldn’t add to these walls for three years. But last week, we resumed the tradition and invited some new donors to admire their own butterflies. Peg loves sharing the story of our butterfly walls with our guests. It’s one of her favorite things to talk about. Especially during one of our Reception and Tours—which will be Tuesday, November 15th, if you’d like to join us.
Special thanks to CGE Trustee Ron Ladell, from AvalonBay Communities who funded the creation of these walls. And helped make the butterfly a symbol of hope for everyone who comes to CGE for help.
