ACTION ALERT! Take Action Now on the FY24 Budget!
A message from The Arc of New Jersey: As we speak, Governor Murphy is preparing his Fiscal Year 2024 State Budget. The State Budget determines how much funding will go toward services and supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We need you to contact the Governor and tell him that next year's State Budget must include a wage increase for Direct Support Professionals and supervisors/managers, and an across the board rate increase for the fee-for-service rates within the Division of Developmental Disabilities. Some of those rates have not gone up since they were first set many years ago, and more funding is needed as high inflation is impacting service provision. Please act now and make your voice heard!
