This weekend we hosted a 4-H STEM Challenge “Explorers of the Deep” workshop.
We were lucky to have Rutgers Marine Science students share important research from robot gliders collecting data in the ocean all over the world.
Through STEM activities, youth learned about the relationship between Earth’s oceans, humans, and the global climate. They also created public action plans to address ocean related challenges like plastic and melting glaciers.
