(December 9, 2024) WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) has called for federal intervention in response to increasing concerns about unexplained drone activity in New Jersey.

Kean expressed his frustration and the concerns of New Jersey residents regarding drones operating in the state's airspace. "The safety and privacy of our residents must be a top priority, and right now, both are being put at risk," he stated.

He urged the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Aviation Administration, and other relevant federal agencies to allocate more resources to investigate this issue. Kean also called for an immediate public briefing from authorities on the matter.

"The people of New Jersey deserve answers," Kean emphasized. He committed to continuing his efforts to ensure that residents' rights and security are fully protected.
