Congressman Tom Kean hosts app challenge winners and discusses veterans' care

Congressman Tom Kean, representing New Jersey's 7th district since 2023, shared a series of updates on social media. Kean, who succeeded Tom Malinowski and has a background in the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate, highlighted various initiatives and engagements in his recent posts.

On February 4, 2025, Congressman Kean announced that he hosted an event for the winners of the Congressional App Challenge. He mentioned Jonah Park and Arnav Jain as the top winners from his district, NJ07. According to Kean, "This challenge is the most prestigious in computer science for students and stands as the largest competition of…".

Later that day, Kean addressed World Cancer Day through another post. He emphasized collective efforts against cancer by stating "On #WorldCancerDay, we come together to take action against cancer, supporting research, raising awareness, and showing solidarity with those affected by this disease."

On February 5, 2025, Congressman Kean reported on a meeting with the New Jersey SOS Veterans Stakeholders Groups. The discussion focused on ensuring quality care for veterans and their families in Northwest New Jersey. Kean remarked "I had the opportunity to meet with the New Jersey SOS Veterans Stakeholders Groups to discuss our mutual priorities of ensuring our local veterans and their families... have high quality care close to home."
