Congressman Tom Kean, representing New Jersey's 7th district, shared updates on his recent activities through a series of tweets. Kean has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023, succeeding Tom Malinowski. His career includes prior service in the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate.

On February 14, 2025, Congressman Kean tweeted about delivering handmade Valentines with his wife to first responders at Mountainside Rescue Squad and the Clark Fire Department. He expressed gratitude towards these community members by stating: "This morning, I had the pleasure of delivering handmade Valentines with my wife, Rhonda, to the amazing first responders at Mountainside Rescue Squad and the Clark Fire Department. It was wonderful to connect with them and express just how much the #NJ07 community appreciates…"

Later that day, Kean met with members of Salem Media Group to discuss radio communications. He emphasized maintaining access to AM radios in New Jersey and nationwide by co-sponsoring a legislative resolution. In his words: "I met with members of the @SalemMediaGrp to discuss the importance of radio communications and how we can continue to maintain access to AM radios in New Jersey and nationwide. I cosponsored the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution to reaffirm Congress’ longstanding support for…"

In another tweet from February 14, Kean criticized policies leading to increased electricity bills in New Jersey. He attributed this hike to initiatives by former President Biden and Governor Murphy's Green New Deal efforts. Kean stated: "Former President Biden and Gov. Murphy’s Green New Deal push is now leading to a 20% electricity bill hike, which is unconscionable for already overtaxed Garden State families. New Jerseyans should not have to choose between keeping the lights on and paying for essentials."
